Friends of Tribals Society was founded in Kolkata on 15 January 1989. The Kolkata chapter is our national headquarters at Ekal Bhawan, and remains the heart of the movement.

Friends of Tribals Society was founded in Kolkata on 15 January 1989. The Kolkata chapter is our national headquarters at Ekal Bhawan, coordinates FTS's national programs, and anchors fundraising and volunteering across West Bengal — including Vanyatra visits to Ekal villages in Bengal and Jharkhand.
